May 24 - Band of Rivals, Ryan Rettew, Savannah King

Doors @ 7:00 Show starts at 8:00

Band of Rivals

Five musicians from seemingly unrelated genres came together to form the Band of Rivals. The collaboration began with Sean Cox bringing some material he had recorded to his companions Abbey Reed and Alex-Michael Alleva. The trio began producing a unique blend of folk, jazz, and rock. Soon after playing a handful of shows together, the threesome agreed that they should find a bassist and drummer to round out and complete their ensemble. These two additions were found in Doug Keller on bass and fantastically eccentric Greg Ondo on drums. The quintet is currently preparing to release their first studio album entitled "The Better Angels of Our Nature". The cd blends folk, rock, jazz, blues, and country and features members of the band playing multiple instruments throughout its rousing duration.
